Art Attack!

Hello Children,

A few weeks ago I asked you some questions about Art in school, I have been looking at your responses and I must say it's lovely to hear what you think about Art. I have also enjoyed talking to some of you during hymns about Art. Your various topics sound like lots of fun and it sounds like you have experimented with some new techniques and materials. I would love to come and see some of your work.

I have been thinking (this doesn't happen a lot wink), a few years ago we did a school gallery where parents and carers could come and view pieces of our Art work with the possibility to buy them. Would we like to do this again? I don't want to make any extra work for the teachers, and would arrange it for in the Summer Term, but I think it would be a good way for us to show off our skills and raise some money for school.

Look forward to hear your thoughts,

Have a great week and remember ‘’Earth’ without ‘Art’ is just ‘eh’’ cheeky

Homework help

Hello Y4/5M,

I have noticed that quite a few of you are having trouble locating and accessing this half terms  homework task. If you follow these steps you should be able to find it:

1. Go to the school website.
2. Select 'children' (which is the blue tab on the left hand side of the school website homepage)
3. Class pages
4. Upper years
5. Underneath the 'Welcome to Upper Years' there are sub pages, you need to click on the 'Cross Curricular homework 2013 - 2014' and there you will find the Viking homework tasks.

Good luck and hope this helps, if not ask a teacher to show you at school.

P.S Hope you have all had a lovely break!

Half Term Plans

Hello!

What have we all got planned for the half term holiday?

Is anybody going on holiday?

I haven't got any plans yet, I am going to spend some time with my family. Does anyone have any recommendations of good places they have visited recently? I would appreciate some advice.

How are Y6 feeling now SATs are over?
